Christian Simanek has German nationality and is currently living in Bavaria. He holds a doctorate degree in law and master’s degrees in the real estate economy, as well as in mediation.
He supported an orphanage in Kathmandu for a few years. That inspired him to further do aid work more effectively by helping various managers of similar interests and projects at the same time. The idea of having a much larger grasp and effect of his own contribution thrilled him. With that, he focused on funding ParticiPaid together with Marie. Another focus was involving a fast-growing community of people across the world who would like to do good as well.
During his professional career, he has worked in various national and pan-European management positions in the real estate investment sector of a Swiss bank, a German insurance company, and within an international consultancy.
